Black-Tie Event POSTPONED!
Our black-tie event has been postponed until further notice.
Food Bank Success
Our food bank, Tins & Things, is now fully up and running, with a large warehouse bursting with donations! Since opening in November 2013, we’ve given over 1000 meals in our food parcels to Basildon residents of all backgrounds, to see them through their times of need. Open 9am-5pm Monday to Friday, it’s the most accessible food bank in the local area. We will be increasing our hours on Mondays from 9am -8pm from the 17th currently considering the possibility of further extended evening hours and weekends, so watch this space!
Parcels are for three days of three meals, can be done for individuals or families, and as they are all made up by hand, we can cater for special dietary requirements.
We are still looking for warehouse volunteers to assist in the management and distribution of our food.
Second Community Kitchen Receives Lottery Funding
